Details
Day 1 : Fez - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt - Errachidia - Ziz Valley - Erfoud - Merzouga
In the morning at 8am we start our journey from Fez to Merzouga passing through the towns of Ifrane the charming ski resort, Azrou, the mountains and cedar forests of the Middle Atlas. After the continuation towards Midelt, passing by the high Atlas at the pass of tizi n tlghoumt and the valley of Ziz strewn with date palms. Then on to Errachidia and Erfoud, the region of dates and fossils, arriving at the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Merzouga - Erg Chebbi - Merzouga
In the morning we will make the big tour of the dunes of Erg Chebbi after the breakfast while passing by the oases and the village of MERZOUGA then towards the village of Khamlia (village of the gnawa musicians) and the desert plateaus to the meeting of the Berber nomads, if you are interested to visit the nomads, we can take tea at their place. After the return to the hostel to continue our camel ride to watch the sunset in the dunes. You will spend the night in nomad tents in the dunes to enjoy the silence of the desert with a full starry sky. Dinner and overnight in the bivouac.
Day 3: Merzouga - Rissani - Tinjdad - Tinghir - Ait Ben Haddou
Wake up in the morning to watch the sunrise over the dunes and the return by camel to the hotel. After breakfast and shower, departure to Rissani cradle of the Alaouite dynasty and Erfoud to visit the fossilized marble factory. Continue our journey to the palm groves of Touroug, Tinjdad and the Toudra valley. Arrival at the Toudra Gorge for a walk. Then on to Ait Ben Haddou passing through Dades and Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 : Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech
In the morning after breakfast we leave Ait Ben Haddou towards MARRAKECH passing by the kasbah AIT BENHADOU to visit the kasbah, (classified as a UNESCO heritage site). Then we continue to Marrakech via the Tizi N’Tichka pass (2260m), passing through several Berber villages until we arrive in Marrakech and end our services.
