Overview of the tour
The 9-day, 8-night, 7-night tour takes you through the northern and southern regions of Morocco, visiting the historic cities of Tangier, Chefchaouen, Fez and Marrakech, as well as the spectacular scenery of the Sahara Desert.
You’ll discover Morocco’s cultural richness, with its bustling souks, sumptuous palaces, historic mosques and lively squares. You’ll sample delicious Moroccan cuisine and visit remarkable historical and architectural sites.
You’ll also explore Morocco’s breathtaking landscapes, from the Rif Mountains to the Sahara Desert. You will have the opportunity to take a camel ride and spend a night in a Berber tented camp under the stars.

Details
Day 1: Tangier - Tetouan - Chefchaouen
Reception at the port or airport of Tangier. After departure travel to Tetouan via the Mediterranean coast. Following the road to Chefchaouen to visit the city and walk in the streets the oldest houses in blue and white. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fez
The road leads to Fez via the Rif forest, the Roman ruins of Volubilis for the visit. (Option – local guide). Continue to Meknes, an imperial city to visit Bab Mansour and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Afterwards continuation to Fez through the new city of Meknes. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 : Fez - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt - Errachidia - Ziz Valley - Erfoud - Merzouga
In the morning at 8am we start our journey from Fez to Merzouga passing through the towns of Ifrane the charming ski resort, Azrou, the mountains and cedar forests of the Middle Atlas. Afterwards we continue to Midelt, passing through the High Atlas at the Tizi n Tlghoumt pass and the Ziz valley dotted with date palms. Then on to Errachidia and Erfoud, the region of dates and fossils, arriving at the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 : Merzouga - Erg Chebbi - Merzouga
In the morning we will make the big tour of the dunes of Erg Chebbi after the breakfast while passing by the oases and the village of MERZOUGA then towards the village of khamlia (village of the musicians gnawa) and the desert plateaus to the meeting of the Berber nomads, after the oasis TISSARDMINE, the Return towards the inn to continue your excursion with back of dromedaries in order to attend the sunset in the dunes. You will spend the night in nomad tents in the dunes to enjoy the silence of the desert with a sky full of stars. Dinner and night in the bivouac.
Day 5: Merzouga - Rissani - Erfoud - Touroug - Tinjdad - Tinghir - Toudra Gorges
Wake up in the morning to watch the sunrise over the dunes and the return by camel to the hotel. After breakfast and shower, departure to Rissani cradle of the Alaouite dynasty and Erfoud to visit the fossilized marble factory. Continue our journey to the palm groves of Touroug, Tinejdad and the Toudra valley. Arrival at the Toudra Gorge for a walk. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Toudra Gorges - Dades Valley - Skoura - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou:
In the morning after breakfast we leave Tinghir to Ait Ben Haddou through the Dades Valley, the road of a thousand kasbahs and ksours of the Valley of the Roses and the palm grove of Skoura where we stop to visit the kasbah of AMRIDIL, then to OUARZAZATE to visit the kasbah of Taourirte. Dinner and night at the hotel in Ait Ben Haddou.
Day 7 : Ait benhadou - Marrakech
In the morning departure towards the kasbah AIT BEN HADOU to visit one of the beautiful kasbahs in MOROCCO, (classified as a UNESCO heritage site). Following the valley of Onila to the kasbah of Telouet. In the afternoon, continue to Marrakech via the Tizi N’Tichka pass (2260m), passing through several Berber villages until we arrive in Marrakech.
Day 8: Marrakech - Marrakech
Visit several sites in Marrakech; the Kotoubia garden, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace and the Djamaa el Fna square.
Day 9: Marrakech - airport
Transfer from your hotel to the airport.
